The Nationwide are the latest lender who have stated that they would not pass on any further base rate cuts should they be reduced in January.This is not in the case with standard variable rates but with a tracker mortgage.It appears that some lenders have in small print that they only have to drop them to a floor point and then no more.I wonder how many people were told this when they took out a tracker in good faith?
